Privacy Policy
Town
& Country Bank realizes that the trust placed in our institution and
in our capabilities to carry out our customer’s financial transactions
in a professional and confidential manner, is paramount to the future
of our bank. The information that is shared with us, by you our
customer, is given to us with the full expectation of privacy and security.
At the same time, we want to be able to offer you, our customer, as many
financial products and services as possible so that our customers can
accomplish their financial goals. We feel we can accomplish both with
our Privacy Policy.
We collect, retain and use information about you only where we
reasonably believe that it will help administer our business AND/ OR provide
products, services and other opportunities to you. We collect
nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources: 1)
information we receive from you on applications or other forms; 2) information
about your transactions with us; and 3) information we receive from outside
sources such as consumer reporting agencies. We will limit the collection
and use of information about our customers to that which is necessary
to administer our business, provide superior service and offer financial
products and opportunities that we think will be of interest to our customers.
When it comes to sharing customer information with affiliated
and unaffiliated third party companies, Town & Country Bank places
strict limits on who receives information about our customers and their
nonpublic personal information. Town & Country Bank may share
the information described above with companies that perform services on
our behalf or to other financial institutions with which we have joint
marketing arrangements. Town & Country Bank will consider such joint
marketing arrangements only if the relationship allows us to provide a
product or service that may BENEFIT our customers. Whenever we do this,
we carefully review the company and the product or service to make sure
that it provides value to our customers. We share the minimum amount of
information necessary for that company to offer its products or service,
and we require the company to restrict their use of the information to
functions relative to marketing the products or services which we have
approved. We may also share information with third party companies when:
1) you request or authorize it; 2) the information is provided to help
complete a transaction initiated by you; 3) the information is provided
to a reputable consumer reporting agency; 4) the disclosure otherwise
is lawfully permitted or required. If you should choose to close your
accounts or become an inactive customer, we will adhere to the privacy
policies and practices as described in this notice.
Each of our employees is educated on the importance of maintaining
the confidentiality and accuracy of customer information and realizes
it is to be used solely for the purpose of providing you with the finest
service available. We restrict access to nonpublic personal information
about you to those employees who need to know that information in order
to provide products or services to you. We provide physical, electronic
and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect
your nonpublic personal information. Our employees are trained to understand
and comply with these privacy safeguards.
Town & Country Bank recognizes and supports the privacy expectations
of our customers. We want our customers to understand our commitment
to privacy in our use of customer information. As a result of our commitment,
we have developed this Privacy Policy for our customers and have made
